Become a Mentor!
By becoming an EcoAction Mentor you will be empowering your neighbors to understand how their daily choices impact the environment. You will be trained to teach EcoAction participants about energy efficiency, carbon emissions, waste reduction, and how living sustainably creates a bright future for us all. People will look to you as an expert in sustainability. The EcoAction Initiative will help local residents work together towards the common goal of having a healthy and sustainable relationship with each other and with nature.
Based on a participants energy consumption as gathered through a detailed report generated from past energy usage data, you will guide them through their house and help them create a plan to lower their energy consumption and carbon footprint. This plan will be created using the program’s reports, their interests, and budget.
