2017 EcoAction Partners Accomplishments & Plans

EcoAction Partners is pleased to share 2016 accomplishments and 2017 work plan - Looking back at 2016, The San Miguel Power Association Income Qualified Weatherization Program (SMPA IQ) surpassed 2016 goals and provided services to 26 applicants. EcoAction Partners is in the process of completing a State of Colorado Department of Health and Environment Recycling Resources Economic Opportunity (RREO) Planning Grant to support our goal of creating a regional composting program. The 2014 Green Grants Program continued to see substantial carbon savings because of grant-funded project implementations.

2017 brings a continuation and growth to all of our current programs. The Truth or Dare program is taking place this Spring in Telluride, Norwood and Ouray County schools. Greenlights will continue and potentially be expanded to new regions served by San Miguel Power Association. The Green Business Certification program will grow and expand, with over 20 certified businesses and counting. EcoAction Partners is excited to partner with Alpine Bank again this year to offer the Alpine Bank Energy Efficiency Loan Program to help finance home energy efficiency upgrades.
