EMISSIONS RESOURCES

EcoAction Partners along with regional leaders continues to track greenhouse gas emissions, and sets goals and coordinates actions to reduce GHG emissions.

EcoAction Partners has tracked greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions for San Miguel and Ouray Counties since 2010. We work with local utilities and governments to compile many sources of data every year.

Since 2010, EcoAction Partners has been our region’s resource for collecting, analyzing and reporting on Greenhouse Gas Emissions data. In 2017, a comprehensive report was created covering 6 years of GHG data.

The Sustainability Action Plan (STRATEGY) is a guide to multi-jurisdictional energy action planning providing a framework to facilitate streamlined, inter-entity collaboration in our region’s efforts to effectively manage energy resources, reduce energy costs and meet energy, water, waste and transportation fuel reduction goals.

Recognizing the power of collaboration, EcoAction Partners formed the Sneffels Energy Board in 2009 to address sustainability at a regional level. Specifically, reducing GHG emissions and consumption of valuable natural resources in the region through coordinated community engagement, project implementation, and policy change at both local and state levels.
