Together, we’ll hold space for these complex feelings, share personal insights, and explore ways to build emotional resilience and collective hope. This final Coffee and Climate Conversation before taking a break in November and December will be held at the Wilkinson Public Library Magazine Room on Thursday, October 30th from 8:30am.-9:30a.m. As always, coffee, tea and pastries are kindly provided!

After Snow: The Case for an Alpine Public

As winters shrink and ski resorts rely more on artificial snow, After Snow reimagines the alpine slope as public terrain for ecological repair rather than private extraction. Focusing on Telluride Ski Resort, the project explores design strategies that reclaim forest remnants, repurpose snowmaking systems, and redefine ski runs for a warming world. This thesis project is the recipient of the 2025 Master in Landscape Architecture Thesis Prize at Harvard GSD.

Join Cory Page (Harvard GSD’25, Telluride High School’14), Landscape Architect and Urban Planner, for a presentation on the future of skiing, followed by a panel discussion on “the cost of doing nothing.” The panel will feature local recreation stakeholders as well as EcoAction Partners on our current climate.
