GREEN BUSINESS CERTIFICATION PROGRAM

The Green Business Program is a fee for service program with the primary goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions from commercial buildings, resulting in lower energy bills.

An initial consultation is free, and we make a plan customized for your business and building. It’s our job to keep track of federal, state, and utility incentives; we fill out the forms, you just sign and get money back.

If you’re ready to to make energy upgrades and aren’t sure where to start, start here. Anything from LED upgrades up to 7-figure financing for building renovations like insulation, efficient heating system replacement, solar, and more.

HOW IT WORKS

San Miguel County and Telluride are matching the certification fee in 2020. You only pay half at $125.

  1. Schedule a free initial consultation and walkthrough with one of our energy auditors - 1 hour

    • Discuss your goals & issues

    • Identify easy fixes

    • Collect information for rebate incentives

  2. Initial Certification

    • Initial certification is $250 for small businesses and $400 for spaces over 10,000 sqft

    • We build a quote with free and subsidized equipment and installation services - you choose measures a la carte

    • We provide a sustainability company policy with specific actions to lower bills and carbon impacts

    • EcoAction can perform many smaller installations, and connect you with trusted contractors for larger projects

    • Set bigger, but realistic goals for the following year

  3. Yearly Re-certification

    • Follow up on yearly goals

    • Address new issues and opportunities

  • Cost of Certification:

    • First time Certification = $250 for businesses under 10,000 sqft | $450 for business spaces larger than 10,000 sqft

    • Recertification = $150 per business

       *This year EcoAction Partners has secured funding from the Town of Telluride and San Miguel County as a 2020 Incentives Program to cover 50% of the certification fee for 2020 qualifying Telluride businesses (covers up to $150 per business).
